i think im gonna get these off ebay this week but i have one question for everyone that got them, did it lower ur truck as far as it said it would?? cause i want a 2 inch drop and i have a v6 qc so i was afraid it might not drop the whole 2 inches, like ive heard happen on other coil springs. also how do u like them??

Get them! but buy them off their website. they r cheaper. I would go with the 3" coils. They'll give u a FULL 3" drop but if its not a full drop, it will probably be around 2 3/4". Or u could go with the 2" coils and put alot of weight on them to give u the full 2" drop, but it will ride really rough. Hope this helped,

well i have 275/45/20 tires so 3 inches will be too much, actually 2 might be a little much so im almost hoping it might just drop 1.5 or soemthing

CHECK AND SEE WHAT THE OVERALL DIAMETER OF YOUR RIM AND TIRE ARE. I HAVE 255/35/20 ON MY TRUCK WITH THREE INCH C/ARMS AND IT CLEARS JUST FINE. I ALSO AM THINKING ABOUT ADDING THESE 1" SPRINGTECH SPRINGS TO GET ANOTHER INCH OUT OF HER. I WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW THEY ARE. I AM ORDERING THEM TODAY.

overall diameter of my tires is about 29.5, thats why im kinda hoping it wil drop about 1.5", cause i dotn want to much rubbing, just less wheel well

I just ordered the Springtech 2" coils for my Dak 4.7 L sport C/C for $50 and a front pair of ST drop shocks for $55 from them too, and if it is rough it's gotta be better than riding on the bump stops!!!! Im tired of eating the inside of my awesome tires off too!!! I got the BF Comp TA's ZR 255 50 16's and they FREAKIN GRIP, this truck will do a sweet drift on dry pavement!!!!!

The lady on the phone told me that they design the springs to lower to full amount from when the truck was new. So if your v6 is a few years old, she said it may have sagged down some and you may get a little more of a drop.

well they called me back and i told them the engine size, great service, they told me i would get them tuesday morning and i got them tuesday morning 2 days after i ordered them.
ill be installing them on thrusday, damn i cant wait

I just ordered mine like 10 minutes ago from Springtech. I can't wait to get them. They told me it would take 7 business days though. Where r u located blakdak01? I'm in Indiana. I'll post pics when i am done lowering my 1999 Dakota R/T 4"/5". Its gonna be slammed! Thanks,

im in the same area code as them in socal and i even asked where they were located cause i could pick them up and save the $10 on shipping but they said they only do will call. and actually i got it the day after they shipped it cause they didnt send it out the day i ordered it. this place had a great service and ill install it tomorrow and then post pics when i detail my truck friday to get ready for my first car show, good-bye wheel well! lol

i totally forgot to measure the actual drop, and btw i drove on a rough freeway on the way to that show and the tire rubbed the wheel well a couple times, but not too bad

How is the overall ride, stiffer, bouncier, any difference from stock, (I like it a little more controlled than stock).
Mine are sitting in my truck with the drop-shocks, I just haven't been able to get over to my roommate's dad's shop to install them yet.
I don't think it'll be too bad, at least you don't need spring compressors.

backspacing is 5.5 and offset is 19
the overall is just fine, its a little stiffer but ive done a couple on/off ramps quicker than ever before, haha
