OK, I need everyones help on this one. I think I've finally figured out how I want to lower my truck. I'm looking for a 3/5" drop and the truck is my daily driver and will be used to drag race as well.

For the front:
Western Chassis - 2" Super A-arms
Western Chassis - 1" Smooth-Rider drop coils
Doetsch Tech - Nitro Slammer shocks

For the rear:
Western Chassis - 3" adjustable Hangers
Western Chassis - 2" lowering blocks
Rancho - RS9000 shocks

The reason that I'm lowering the rear that way is so that I can later switch the blocks out and pick up a pair of the Calvert Racing mono leaf springs which give a 2" drop and they recommend using the Rancho RS9000 shocks with those springs for proper weight transfer.

Does anyone see a problem with this setup? Any suggestions/recommendaions? Also, I plan on eventualy having 18" rims. The front rims will be 8" wide and the rear 9.5". Will I have any problems with the lowered A-arms and 18x8" rims?

Sorry for the long post, I've just got lot's of questions and I don't want to make a bad descision.

Thanks!

if you are looking for a strip truck get some 90/10 drag shocks... it will help the weight transfer a lot.. do you want it to handle well and ride nice on the street? if so I would get the Hotchkis drop springs... on a lowered truck you need stiffer springs so you don't bottom out on every bump from lack of travel... there are guys running in the 11's with just a hotchkis kit so I wouldn't worry about it too much.. with slicks of course..
