Subject: poly a-arm bushings IP: Logged
Message: I'll be putting in 2" drop coils so I will change ball joints at same time.
I'm also considering changing control arm bushings
with poly ones has anyone done this .
I changed bushings in my 74 cutlass and it was a pain in the ass.
On the kota is a matter of just getting the rubber out and putting the poly in its place
using existing sleeves.

Message: it is a huge pain in the ass... the uppers are pretty simple but you will need a hydraulic press or an impact gun to get the lowers in.. as well as some spacers to keep from crushing the arm... they are real tight... I did mine at a shop with all the right tools and it took a couple hours after the arms are off... make sure you grease them up really well or they will squeak over every bump... if you want some detailed instructions the way I did mine email me at mxblue23@aol.com and I will write some out for you... they don't come with any and their tech support sucks... feel free to ask any ?
