i have heard that if you are going to lower w/ coils, that you should change the balls out too... is this true? should you change out all 4 ball joints? i was considering getting a groundforce 2/2 or 2/3 drop w/ coils in the front, but i need brakes and rotors already, if i have to do 4 balljoints too i doubt i can afford to do it all. thanks for any help

If you have good ball joints you shouldn't have to change them. I changed mine when I lowered my truck because the uppers were bad. Since I had it apart, I changed the lowers too. So 6 month or a year later, I wouldn't have to take it apart again.

well, today at work, i was looking at my kumho tires, and couldnt believe that the fronts are completely eaten up on the insides and noticeably worn on the outsides, so pretty much i need ball joints for sure now... so i rotated the tires and am hoping to have at least the balls, rotors, and pads on w/in a few weeks, and maybe even a 2/2 drop if i can talk my mechanic into doing it for/with me.
