Subject: TIRE SIZE IP: Logged
Message: My son has a 98 dakota 2wd and we are lowering it 2"or maybe 3" front and rear Does anyone know what the max size tires we can use. we are probably going to RT wheels but my go 18's or even 20's.

Message: You can safely go with a 28" tire. For the RT you can go 255/55/17 or 275/50/17. I have a 2/3 drop and I'm going with 255/45/19.

Message: ddmag52 You can go with either of the 2 sizes , I have 255/55/17 on the front and 275/50/17 on the back , The backs are a bit wider and about the same height 28" , I would go 255/55/17 all If you want to rotate them ..
