i have a 01' dak 3.9L standard cab and i was wondering if anyone knew of a good 3"/5" drop kit that would be a good deal and good durability and not too pricy... anyone do anything like this please give me some advise, i need it!

i have a 3/5 drop on 98 RC with a 2.5. i have 2" hangers and 3" blocks in the rear and 3" springs in the front. the springs cost me around $125.00 and the hangers cost $125.00. the blocks were probably the cheapest at $45.00. i did most of the work myself except for the hangers. i had to have the factory rivets torched. the drop looks good though and i'm fixin' to put bags on it real soon.

not right now i don't. im in the process of getting pictures taken so i can post them. as soon as i do, i'll post up. it looks sweet though. can't wait till i get my bags and body drop!!!:)

whats a RC? hey sporty98, do you have rims on it yet? if so, what kind. i have 17' RT rims i wanna put on low pro's when i drop it more to a 3/5 this summer.
hey don Vaughn, check on www.stylinconcepts.com . they offer 1) quick drop kit for $289.95 including - coils/rear shackles/hangers and 2) pro drop kit $449.95 - control arms/ shackles/hangers. on www.sporttruckdirect.com, they got 2 types of western chassis 1) economy drop $479 and 2) a deluxe drop kit $619. the deluxe has the better ride i've been told. for info on the last two, its too much, so just check out the website for detailed info they got. hope that helps out any.
i will be doing the same drop this summer, but if i get impatient i might do the $289 kit, but i want as much a good ride as i can so i might stick with the western chassis but just the economy drop. the kits on the sport truck direct site, they offer more in their kits as you will see. well, good luck!! let me know how it goes.

not yet. RC stands for reg. cab. i plan on putting 20's here real soon. i wanna do both the bags and the rims at the same time. i hear Boze Alloys make rims custom fit for daks. i might check them out.
