yep, I'm selling my baby ... she's number 576/1000 that were produced in 2001 to congratulate the R1's third consecutive sportbike of the year award. It's a sick bike (http://www.figit.com/r1champ.jpg) 1000cc's ... so no, those that want to "roll" on a sportbike and attempt to get away with a 600cc black & decker get to steppin'. Stock she is 160hp @ under 600lbs wet. That picture is from the yam site, my bike is bone stock and is EXACTLY like the photo other than a buckle gaurd. (dont want to scratch the tank) Yes I'd love to throw a an akro pipe, port and jet her, throw a steering damper on, and roll marchisi rims, etc but it's one of a kind and I've kept it that way. She has 7k miles on her, she's spotless, redline products all the way and changed at every 1500. Hey I know this is probly not the best place to post this but those that are into sportbikes make me an offer. just to make things clear I have a 00 r/t w/ no shopping cart wing, no coffee can exhaust, I'm down with the muscle and when I decided to get a bike the r1 is the bike I picked and after TWO raffles and 1k cash I got a champ edition. (200 were sent to the UK so they are very rare in the states especially now) NO stock bike can hang with it, NOT the hyibusa dillhole, too heavy ... NOT the cbr 954RR to fi and weak, . Oh and dont ever attempt to race a ducati ANYTHING (even the slow 996), your sonic boom as you pass it with your duck eater will cause severe damage to the duck rider, chest cavaties .. everything, it's just messy : o ) oh and the boyz in the mean green numb-chucks cant hang, at best they roll up screaming in there 750, 900, 1200 (kawi decided to make new cc classes because nothing in the 600/1k standard was working heh)and oh yeah they scream with there vance and hines (yes, carbon fiber dirt bike exhauts) but they fold EVERY time when faced w/ an r1 just ask them. last but not least are the gixxers out there, I can't tell a 94 from a 02 so it's misleading but a highly modded 02 will smoke you for sure, but I'm stock and I have yet to be beaten, I'm going off the papers and yes I've raced both the "breakthough" 2001 1000cc gixxer and the 02' and yeah they were TOUGH, I'd roll with any of them but they are neither as agile as me or as deadly quick. u know, 0-60 in under 3 seconds guaranted heh.
