OK. FINALLY Saturday, I'm gonna install:
MTX Thunderform subwoofer box (2 10's)
Infinity 5-channel amp (50w x 4 + 200w x 1)
Boss graphic EQ w/sub controls
Infinity Kappa 6 1/2 2-way rear speakers
All this to compliment the TOP-OF-THE-LINE factory system.
I'm leaving the factory Infinity component front speakers in place for now. I'm going with 6 1/2's instead of the 6 3/4's because, after much research, I've found that even the 6 3/4's ARE NOT "drop-in" speakers (the Dodge requires 3-hole mounting), requiring alterations. I just don't get it. Whatever happened to industry standards?
I'll post a new topic when this has been completed, and let you all know the results.
