i don't need 4WD for snow -- i need it for the muddy fields i drive over to get firewood etc. I was sliding all over the fields today til i dropped it in 4WD.. around here they plow and salt but those fields stay muddy all year. So far i used 4WD once for snow to try it out and five times to drive in the fields. Does that sound about right.

I don't get what's supposed to sound about right?

Try it in some very rough terrain with snow over a foot deep. *sink* Man does that suck. For me => MORE WEIGHT IN THE BACK! 4WD is fun as hell sometimes, but that's why we have the '83 Toy.

I wish they would come out with a tracked Dakota, maybe also make it amphibious. The 4x4 is fine for muddy fields and firewood, but I really need to be able to invade Canada if they start getting too froggy.
