The new 353 Hemi is supposed to replace the 360 engine. Does this mean that there will be a Hemi powered Dakota? This would be one mean rig.
Is there anyone out there with the inside scoop?

That is a rumor but I haven't seen it in writing on a Mopar letterhead.

The new word 'round the watering hole is that Daimler put the 5.7L Hemi and the 300C ideas into "file 13" a.k.a the circular filing cabinet. They aren't supposed to go into production. But they said the same thing about the 2003 Ram redesign, but I've seen the test vehicles cruising around the motor city.
