 Subject: 1997 4x2 Tire Question

I own a 1997 Dakota Club Cab SLT 4x2 and I'm looking to put some new wheels & tires on it. Right now it's got a set of P235/75R/15 tires on it that look reltively wimpy and I can't stand the stock '97 rims they are on.
I've got my eyes on a set of wheels that are taken off of a 2002 Durango that a buddy will give me at a good price. Only problem is, they are P265/70R/16 Goodyear Wrangler RT/S tires. Can anyone tell me if they are going to fit! I can't seem to get a straight answer anywhere!

yep they should work just fine I put a set on the 97 I had made a big improvment. If you dont have the flairs you might want to look into a set, they do stick out a bit, good luck.
