well today my mom calls me from work to bring some gas up there cause they think that one of her coworker's car is out of gas.. so i look in the shed find two gas cans about half full.. so i combine them. i fill the car with gas.. but it still doesnt work.. (maybe the starter) ..but now when my dad gets home i tell him that i used all the gas in the shed.. and he tells me that one of them(the samller one) was for the weed-eater and that it was a mixture of gas and 2 cycle oil.. will this hurt that ladys car any? thanks for any input.. -Joey

As long as you don't make a habit of it, I've even used mix to clean my throttle-body. I DID take the throttle-body off to do this, to me it seems to do the same thing as carb cleaner in a can.

as long as the tank is filled with good gas as soon as possible there won't be any problems at all, if there is oil in the gas the only thing that would happen is fouled plugs

The thing is carb cleaner is ethanol which is highly volatile, (which means it has a low evaporation temperature). Oil is not as volatile, and will not evaporate.. the mixture in the tank will have to be burned off in the cylanders. It mayt foul up the plugs. If she needs to get rid of it, run some injector cleaner through it and try to get it out. Otherwise, it may just settle at the bottom of the fuel tank with the other sludge that accumulates. Either way, no big deal.
