Does anyone have a repair manual that has the information for rebuilding a 1997 V-8 5-speed trans from a 2 WD. I bought a Haynes manual and it has nothing in it for the trans. Could someone scan the pages for me I have to put a new syncro in for second gear soon.

You need a unit repair manual. Go to your dealership and ask for a unit repair manual. I should also warn you to never buy Haynes manuals. They are morons!!!!!! Chilton is about as good as it gets. THe factory service manuals are pretty good too. THe problem with the factory service manual is that it is written with Tech.'s in mind not a shade tree so they leave out some basic stuff but include alot more stuff. Mitchell on Demand is also pretty good.
