Message: I went by the local Harley gathering on a rainy cold evening a few months ago. They had all taken their cars to the club meeting instead of their bikes. The lot was full of rice burners.!!!???.

Message: I got a VFR 750. I haven't had a H.D. rider make a friendly gesture to me yet.
DID you ever see a H.D. rider use a rain suit in the rain. I haven't. What does that say about them? Hummmm

Message: I'm in the same boat, Wayne. I've met many a Harley on my Kawasaki KLR650 and haven't once been acknowleged by any of 'em. Maybe it's just the way it is in Michigan. Doesn't bother me though ... they might just be jealous that I can go on OR off the road ..... hehehehe

Message: Pat, I love the "all five fingers" answer. I'm in south La. (that's Louisiana). Harley riders are a different breed. I have 2 that work for me. They are good guys. I just giv'em a hard time...you know...for the fun of it. I ride Dirt bikes too. No Harley riders ever wave at me out there either. I wonder why??? Last week we were riding an a motocross track near a highway. Some H.D. people stopped to watch. I rode over to the fence, picked out the biggest guy, and asked if he wanted to switch bikes for an hour or so. His eyes got big and he pushed his bike backward like I had a disease while saying "no way man". Hehehe.

Message: Those same guys were probably assholes before they got their Harleys. I have always figured as long as you are out there having fun thats all that really matters. The best thing about Harleys is if you have one that is 30 years old you can still get parts for it! If any of you are ever in central Texas (Austin area) and some guy on a Harley Fat Boy is friendly it could be me so wave back. Pat

Message: when this guy passed me on the right while i had my blinker on to get off at the same off ramp. just the thought of the damage he could have done to my truck made me furious.then i saw the harley sticker on this toyota 4x4 i thought to myself if someone did that to him on his bike all hell would break loose!then i thought about the wave thing.i rode a suzuki gs550es for 10 years never had a harley wave to me.to see so many foreign trucks with harley stickers leaves me to wonder where is the wave?i only wish i could afford a harley softtail also i would wave and have waved to every bike out there!

Message: None taken. I should have made that clearer. I have a real problem with people who drive like the one you encountered. Doesn't matter what they are driving. Those are the times I wish I had a Peterbuilt!! Yes I am anal retentive when it comes to non-driving idiots! I don't pesonally have a bike but have quite a few family members that do so I have a lot of respect for 2 wheelers.
