on the verge of buying a 2003 qc spt. plus 4x4 part time with 4.7,5 spd. auto, 3.92 lsd, hd towing and cooling, and loaded except for 4 whl abs (anticipate larger tires in future). I've learned a lot from this forum. Thanks. Having trouble deciding between white/taupe cloth and graphite/gray cloth. I live in TX and it's hot here. Is the taupe hard to keep clean? Ball joints seem to be a problem. Any thoughts on extended warranty? I plan on reading and contributing to this forum and would like some local knowledge.

I got the extended warranty with my 98 and it paid for itself several times. I have it with my 02 PT Crusier too. If you plan to keep the truck long, put a lot of miles on it, it can be good insurance.

I'd go with the gray myself but it's up to you.

Thanks for the reply deep purple and undertaker. I am on the road 8-10 mos a year in a big truck and only put 4 to 5 k on my personal vehicle a year so the extended warranty might not be a good deal for me. Man, I wish they had a sunroof...had one in my KW W900 all year and I loved it! Same with xm radio, it rocks and works great in Canada, too. I don't think the infinity is xm ready, tho. BTW, have been using pennzoil total care on my el camino with bad paint and the stuff is awsome. I vary from the directions slightly and it is fast and like rain x'ing your entire vehicle.
