Message: But, if any diesel would be an option for the Dak. I would hope it would be a V6 oiler useing the same technology as you see in the ISB Cummins. Somewhere in the 4 litre catagory and also useing C.R injection.

Hopefully Ford might change there mind on the 4.5L PowerStroke V6. Now that would have been a great option for a half ton truck excluding the extra coast.

Message: Thats more like like the ISX diesals. Dodge was on a roll with a V6 Cummins concept, but I think the deal with Fiat and also the fact they went into bankuptcy put that deal back on the shelf.
There might still be some hope with GM. I like the 4.5L Duramax concept and it just might a replacement for one of their engine lineups (5300 vortech)
Also in the news it's been reported that GM is testing another Big Block gasser. Look for it to be another OHV design with VVT technology and also it might be an aluminum block with graphite heads.

Message: I happen to agree with the message from STS. But I think it's just wishfull thinking that both GM,Ford and Chrysler will do something right-such as adding an engine that could produce up to 24+ MPG on the HWY.
Hopefully Toyota might add a smaller 4cly diesel from CAT on there Tundra.

the cummins in semi trucks could weight 2k+
the ISX i think?
i like where cummins approved bio diesel (B20) for their large displacement engines
they listed like 12Liter-78Liter
1990 sport RC SB, 1995 318drivetrain, 3.92 gears (came with truck) Powertrax "traction system", 95 dash/steering wheel, hearthrob exhaust, headers, cutout after y-pipe, necessary electric fan add-a-leafs, 30x9.5 mud tires, cranked T-bars, AR 39 15x8 rims, grill guard, roll bars

Message: Yes, all ISX Cummins diesals are 15 or 11.9 litres or 915 and 732 cubic inch in size and weigh in at just over at ton.
The 11.9 shares technology with the proven ISX15 engine including design features such as the XPI common rail fuel system.

Message: The truck it self weighs in at 3.5 tons if you talking about the Gen 2 modles. But now think you're looking at over 4 tons for the new HD's.
