Message: Ok, i got the double roller and timing chain tensioner coming in the mail. I need to know how to install the tensioner after i have to told thrust plate and gears off? Is it obvious how it is supposed to fit, and do i have to attach anything to it , or does it just press in place? Does anyone know exactly how that thing works?

Message: It's pretty obvious. Bolt on using the three bolts which held on the thrust plate. Be sure to torque to spec. Most difficult part will be putting the chain on because of the tension. You might want to soak your chain in oil for a day before installation. It helps to keep it quiet. HTH.

Message: Alright, I can do that. I just have to find the torque specs in my Haynes manual. Actually, i didnt get the double roller, its a Mopar Performance multi-roller chain. Its almost like a mesh chain. Its pretty damn sweet! Ill be doing the install Friday so everything will be open in case i need something. Thanks for the heads up on the chain soak.. i will do that on Thursday.
