Hi All,
I am now an offical Dakota owner! I just picked up my brand spanking new 2001 Quad Cab, 4.7L SLT+, Patriot Blue, fulltime 4x4, LS 3.55, and 4 wheel ABS this evening! What an awesome truck! Thanks again to the list for the info, help and patience with the "newby". So far so good. I was missing the hard badges and hood insulation on it but the dealer promised to make good on it ASAP! The VP there owns a 2000 model and was shocked to see the missing items. Fit & finish were better than I was expecting and the rear wheels and box were centered correctly. Good folks at the dealership too. First dealer I have been too that didn't try to force any aftermark items during the finance and closing of the deal! Low keyed and easy going types.
