Hi everyone, I just got my first Dakota (2002
QC Sport 2wd V6 5 speed) and am pleased to
see there is so much info here! I had no idea
there is so much I can do with my truck. What
a great site!
Which rack fits better Yak or Thule? I will be
using it for kayaks, surf boards, and possibly a
gear basket when we go to Mexico.
Thanks, James

Get the Yakima. Not sure if it fits better or not but the reason is that the Yak has round cross tubes. The Thule has square ones that bend real easy.

Yakima & Thule are actually made by Yakima..

Yakima is in my opinion a better quality.

Goodnight,

Welcome to the world of daks!

BUT WHY, OH WHY, WOULD YOU GET A V6, AND IN A QUAD NO LESS! TELL ME IT AIN'T SO!

And don't tell me MPG, cause the 4.7 will match and beat the v6's.
