Subject: what shocks should i use? IP: Logged
Message: I am installing my Hotchkis lowering kit (Front 2 inch drop coils, rear 3 inch drop leafs) I am wondering what shocks i need to use. I called Hotchis and they said the stock size would work but they didn't recommend it. I am looking at the KYB gas adjustables (38.99 each from advanced auto parts) but i don't know which part number to use for a lowerd dak. Can anybody help? If you are using something else besides KYB's what type are you using and what part number are they?

Message: I can't help you with the KYB stuff but I know a lot of guys run Bilstein shocks on lowered trucks.

Message: I'm running a 2/2 drop in my truck w/the stock shocks in the back (Speedtweaks mistake - they put the stock ones back in),,and those suckers bottom out on every single bump!
