What do you think about contacting large, relaible, company, that already has really good prices and then swearing allenance to them in return for a nice discount. Im going to try to set this kinda of thing up with a friend of mine out at Autobahn Wholesale. They always have the best prices anyway, but if everyone will join in and only by from them they will give us even more off, and then we all are happy.
A good idea may be to have a sub- (classified) or (forum) labeled GROUP BUYS:
I would be more than happy to set up any group buy that people wanted to get in on. I want to start one for the 4.7 K&N gen II right away. Also anything else you buy we can do this way and save lots of money. contact me or reply and tell me what you think? Also pass the word around the pages the more people that know, and/or buy the cheaper we can get things!

dude,#1 register so everyone can take you seriously.#2 get the guy to advertise so mark can make some money to keep the site going.#3most of the group buys that ive seen posted have bought thru a sponcer of this web page! not to piss on your parade, im all for saving $ but this site takes up a lot of time and money.the guy should advertise first then start talking about group buys!steve

I should have mentioned it I emailed Mark and he sid it was cool, and anywhere we order from will sponsor the site as well. I was gonna leave that between me, mark, and the sponsor, but i guess it should be public info. Ill try again to register today, Ive tried a few times and it didnt go through for some reason. Ill do it again today!

We get group buys all the time on the DML. Do you receive it? I bought my clears for like 50 bux or something.
Also, the RT club has group buys all the time.
Nothing new. I tried to get a group buy on fender flares one time, but not enough people were interested... oh well.. give it a shot!

Yes durtydog, some kind of funds would help the site greatly. There are a lot of new features I'd like to add but without the proper funding, it can't happen. Not to mention that bandwidth is expensive and without it, the site will cease to exist.

Here is my idea to become a kind of partner with a company where they can move large quanties of merchandise, we can get it at a discount and they will in turn sponsor the site. SO we all win the site, the users, and the company! It will be hard to find such a deal and we amy have to do them seperately but I think it is a reasonable idea.
