Has anyone ever run across a kit where you can take a factory seat and turn it into a heated seat? Something like a heating pad to put inside the seat, or possibly a heated seatcover?

I have seen them, they do exist. I always thought one would be cool, but not in my truck. My truck's heater warms up my rather small cab very quickly. I actually only use the front defroster to heat my truck. It doesn't even need the front blowers or I overheat in minutes.
