 Subject: Got 18's????

I was wondering what size tire would i have to get to fit 18's on my 98' Dakota???? i want it to be as close to the stock height as possible. I tried a couple different mags, and web sites, but they all are a little differnt. I apperciate any help.

how wide are your rims? and are the rears the same or wider?

the rims are 8.5" and the same on front and back.

a 245/50R18 would be the closest its a -0.05" difference. that size might be hard to find so you might want to try a 255/45R18 it will be a little smaller, but its a more popular tire and you might be able to find them easier.
are you going to lower it?

well, thanks. But i ended up getting 17" Enkei rims. The place where i ordered them had the 18's on back order for like 3 months, so i decided to just get the 17's and used the extra money to get a intake. I'm going to use a Belltech 2-4" drop this July.
