Anyone know where I can get a K+N air intake system for a decent price? I don't want to make my own intake. Thanks!!

Get a 360AirIntekez, its a 9" K&N air filter and a ceramic (inside) coated aluminum tube...2 peice for easy install/removal. Works more efficiently than the Z-tube and isn't as pricey, nor plastic, like the FIPK. Its only $180 from there website.

So I was on the 360 Airintakez website, and I was reading over their dyno runs and such... Here's where I ran into something kind of fishy.

***********************************************
Stock Air Box Test: 5-minute idle test
Start:
56.1° F Outside Temp
76.4° F Inside Box Temp

Stop:
55.9° F Outside Temp
120.7° F Inside Box Temp

Total: 44.3° F increase in temperature.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Open Element Intake Test: 5-minute idle test
Start:
57.8° F Outside Temp
101.4° F Inside Box Temp

Stop:
56.3° F Outside Temp
137.6° F Inside Box Temp

Total: 36.2° F increase in temperature.

End Results? Our open element air intake system part# 100-59 ran 8.1°F cooler then the stock air box.

*******************************************
How does this work??? Their inside box temp started off 25 degrees warmer in the first place, plus how the heck does the outside temperature change one and a half degrees in five minutes? That's a hell of a chinook wind or something. Just sort of fishy, made me think I'm gonna look somewhere else where the mind games aren't so obvious. Let me know if I'm wrong somehow, but it just doesn't add up. Here's the website if you wanna check it out yourself. http://www.360airintakez.com/dynorun.html

Yet another interesting fact I forgot to point out.

"End Results? Our open element air intake system part# 100-59 ran 8.1°F cooler then the stock air box. "

Okay... too bad it was the same day, and the stock box actually was 17 degrees COOLER than their wonderful instake after 5 minutes. Gotta love people that use statistics to blatantly lie.
