Well it's not brand new, but it is new to me. I just got a wrecked 02 SXT with 3000 miles for $3900. The only things it needs fixed is a front clip, new airbags and some minor frame work. there is also a few minor things that need fixed but I ought to be driving it by this summer at the latest. That is if funds allow. I'm real excited and I am looking forward to get started on this project. Just thought I would share.

Thats great news, are you going to have a shop fix up your truck or are you going to do it? Just asking because about a year ago i wrecked my dak. I hit a guy in front of me who didn't have working lights on his trailer, i hit him at about 35 MPH. My bumber ended up hitting his trailer and it tore off my bumper, set off the air bags (which messed up the dash and my radio) and put a hole thorought he radiator and broke the headlights. Luckly i had full coverage but my point is that the insurance company was charged almost 11,000 to get the truck fixed. They fixed it though. If your doing all the work yourself it'll be a lot cheaper.

My father and I are going to do it ourselves. My dad has done a few other vehicles and he has a friend that has doe many of them. My father knows quite a bit about vehicles so we should be able to do most of it ourselves.

02 SXT - awesome, man thats a real deal especially since you are going to do the work (with your dads help). I know how valuable that is. My dad is a car painter and has done all the custom body work and custom silver flame paint job on my truck. If you want a picture let me know and i'll send you one. He lives out in the southern california area. We do a lot of custom work for firends on theri cars since as you know it can get pretty expensive to have a shop do it. Good luck on the turck, it should be fun.

Could you please post pictures of your flamed truck? I'd like to have flames painted on my truck someday but I'm still up in the air as to the design (that and I don't have the $2-5k it takes to have proper flames painted, maybe someday I can find the right hookups!)
If they're not postable e-mail them to me please.
