Subject: Its snowing in the Burgh!!! IP: Logged
Message: Wow, just came off a 1 hour drive to work that normally takes 15 min. First time I really got to drive the DAK in the snow!! Handled very very nicey. And remember, 4WD is your friend. I passed a number of trucks stuck on the hills of I-376 in Pittsburgh, PA Traffic was absolutetly horrrible, but I sure had fun. A lot different that trying to get the oldsmobile to work in the snow :)

Message: mpil1,
Hey, hey!!! I just got back from a trip into Monroeville from out in the boonies. It was 4-wheeling all the way and I had a ball.
Man-o-man, I love the snow. My wife says that I'm deranged.

Thats where I'm working at, Monroeville. My trip to work usually takes 15 min; was over 1 hour today. Pittsburghers really need to learn how to drive in the snow (although it was a little worse than it normally gets here this morning). Yea, although it was slow, it was fun!! But I'll take my warm weather anytime!!!

Message: mddak,
Unless you did something fancy to your truck, you don't have a LSD in the front of your Dak. If you have LSD in the rear, you only have 3 "sure-driving" wheels; that front passenger-side wheel is still open. Once I finally get a chance to get back out to the 4x4 shop, I'm gonna have trac-loc put in the rear. With 4x4, thats more traction than I'll ever need, I'm sure.
