Subject: Best Bedliner? IP: Logged
Message: Line-X, GatorHyde, Perma Tech... Is there a big difference? I know there is a local Line-X place. Last time I checked it was about $400. Is this good or should I drive to Phx and find a different place?

Message: I got a Permatech, over the rail, for my 01 QC, for only $300. I think I got a good deal though. In Houston TX. It's lifetime guarantee, like the other good ones, I think it's as good as the others, they sprayed in on plenty thick, no peel and it's been over 6 months.

Message: Rhinoliner...much thicker than Line-X, has a cloth or fiber-like layer in it.Keeps its color (yes, colors available) longer, and is much more 'rubbery'. Lifetime guarantee too. Just don't ever ask to get it removed. I got mine over the rail, looks real sharp.

Message: I bought mine with a Line-X freshly installed. Diggin' it so far. I've thrown a few loads of limestone (football/basketball size) in it and it hasn't left a mark yet. Grant the only other action it's seen is hauling my golf clubs and tailgating needs.

Message: Currently running the old stand-by Duraliner over the rail. Not too bad, but according to the Dodge parts guy the tie-downs are in recesses in the bed floor and the Duraliner doesn't have cutouts for that. Only the standard side cutouts, which is useless if there isn't anything behind it to tie off to.
I was thinking of selling it and going for the Rhinoliner. Of course, the parts guy said it will kill gas mileage as it is so much heavier than a Rhinoliner. Any truth to that?
