I have a 1999 Dodge Dakota CC with the 318, I have noticed for the past few days when going down the highway(65+) the truck makes several noises(simalr to a blade hitting a spinning wheel and a knocking sound like someones inside a wooden box) and the noises go away when i make the truck downshift, but then my check engine light will blink anywhere from 10 to 30 times, anyone have a clue what this might be? it has appox 106000 miles and the tranny was rebuilt at about 90000 miles, and around town the truck has just as much power as before. Any help would be nice.....
