Subject: Poor Gas Mileage IP: Logged
Message: I've been getting poor gas mileage in my 97 with a 318. Like 10 to 13 mpg. The 13 being highway. It use to be 12 to 16. I have 104000 miles on the truck, and it still has the original distributor cap and rotor, plug wires, and maybe plugs. I figure its time to change it all. Are there brands that I could upgrade to and what brand should I go with? Should I get an MSD series 5 or 6? I need some ideas. Thanks.

Message: Get some Autolite 3924 plugs, Borg/Warner cap and rotor, and some Taylor 8mm Spiro Pro plug wires. You can get the plugs, cap, and rotor at Pep Boys, or NAPA, and the wires from Summit
