Deep Purple...
It is a 1991 4 cyl. 2.5 and the wiring is the harness that comes off the inside of the passenger tire well and runs 4 wires to the under body of the truck, 2 wires to a terminal on the back of the motor, 2 wires to a connector on the drivers side of the engine and 5 or 6 connectors on the throttle body. I think we spliced okay because it did start the day we finished it, We only let it run for a minute or so and turned it off, pounded down some well deserved beer and let it rest. The next day we tried to start it and it would not fire, no spark. We have no idea where the problem is or what the problem is and are having a hell of a time with out any directions or manuals. We tested it with a multi-meter, there is current coming into the coil but nothing coming out of it, we replaced the coil, still nothing. We use this truck for beer runs so we need some serious help fast.

My husband is looking for a wiring diagram for our 1991 Dodge Dakota truck. We are having problems with the heater. He first thought it was the fan motor but know thinks it is possibly a relay??? The heater motor did not make any funny noises but just up and quit one day so we have no heat and no A/C, this is a work truck by the way. He is a work right now but wanted me(yes a blonde) to get on the internet and see if I could find a wiring diagram out there somewhere. Does anyone know where we cfan find one. Thanks for your help, I'm not looking forward to driving this w truck this winter with no heat. Thanks you so much
