Subject: What would i expect to pay

Message:
I found a 99 Dakota Sport club cab 4x4, Magnum V8, fully loaded, automatic, at a local dealer. I was wondering what would be a reasonable price that they would be asking, it doesn't have a price on it yet, and I am trying to get a jump on it. It has the offroad and towing package, power everything, 31x10.50x15, bedliner, excelent condition. I will be trading my 99 Dakota Sport 4x2 in on it, it has 22,000 miles on it, power nothing standard.

I guess I was just wondering if anyone could give an idea of what i would be looking at for prices.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

sorry to be blunt but:

you don't get a jump on a dealer, they are in business to make money. They do it every daay. How often do you do it. People tell me they screwed the dealer. Yea that's why we drive a Lexus and pay thousands per week in advertising. check yahoo, nada, kelly, edmunds for value. You'll be better off selling your car in the newspaper, we make money off people because they don't want the hassle. You pay for the convenience. in thousands. you sound young. To dealers your just a mark, a commission.

ey man just go to edmunds.com to get a good idea of what the truck is worth, winter is a slow time so wait a week or to and walk in and tell them what you want to pay for the truck.. TOTAL not per month. If they dont give you what you want, walk .. it's as easy as that. I got a 00' r/t cc with 52k miles 2 months ago for 13,200.. I had to go out of state to get it but after waiting about 3 months I had to get it. The price was right and I didn't get screwed with the "used car" interest rate. Anyhow, good luck bro!
