I looked at a 99 dodge dakota 4x4 yesterday.It has 144,000 extended cab v8 tonnuea cover bf goodrich tires and I can pick it up for 8500.00 is that a good deal?

i dont know about you but i think the miles are kinda high .thats like 48000 miles a yr but thats my $.02

I agree with davage,but if the truck is in good shape,good wheels and tires,decent interior.Motors can be rebuilt twice,thats alot easier done than redoing all the interior and painting and fixing dents in the truck and puting new tires on the truck,what i'm trying to say is that if it is well maintained and clean i wouldn't worry about the miles.

too many miles unless you can afford a rebuild in the near future. Sure it's possible you can get another 100k miles out of it, but it's not likely. I'd have to say, keep looking.
