Subject: Scratch removal... IP: Logged
Message: Do yall have any ideas for a good product for scratch removals, i'v seen that Meguiar's Scratch-X but it's like 8 bucks. I just detailed and waxed a little of my truck today and it looks baaaaaad. All shiny and stuff. But, there is a couple scratches i wanna get rid of...

Message: turtle wax makes a product, it looks like colored wax, only more liquidy. it also comes withj a lil stick, that looks like lipstick. i used it about twice now, and its taken care of all my lil scratches...

Message: Scratch rule of thumb. If you can feel it with a finger nail, it most likely won't come out. IF it is just a surface (clearcoat) scratch, you can buff out, machine is best, but applied by hand could work as well. Look for a product that is SAFE, for Clear coats. Most professionals, use 3M products, that is what I have used for over 15 years with no complaints. Good luck
