Huh... It was my first truck. I bought brand new in april 1999. I can tell you for sure that Iīm the only one that have sit on the driveīs seat... Itīs a case of love.....Donīt laugh of my baby...Iīm proud of my 2.5l dak....My dak has today 21504 miles.

I had a v-6 dakota and wanted more then anything to make it faster. Reading over posts to find ideas pointed in one direction, and that was to get one with a v-8. Mechanics just laughed at the mention of a V-6. It isn't worth the time or money, especialy with a 4 banger. Quit dicking with it and save for something you can be happy with. Be honest with your self, are you happy with half an engine?

dakfour, instead of a super charger, you can only get so much otta it and it's gonna put a high load on the 4 banger. Will it put you up to 175 hp with torque. Think about puting yur money into dropping at least a six into it. there's a lot of sixes around.

Why would anyone buy a 4cyl dakota, with knowing how much the truck weighs and the size of it.... And if you were plannin on doing mods to it anyways, why bother, for the cost that you are gonna put out to get close to the same power as the 5.2, you could have bought the 5.2 from factory and put mods on it and gotten more power.
I just don't get it, didn't you drive the truck as a 4 cyl. and notice that it was gutless. Why didn't you opt for the V8 or heck even the V6, in my opinion the 4 cyl is just a waste of money. I can't understand why dodge even offered that motor in the truck.

would you rather buy a 6 cyclinder dakota or a supercharged 4 cyclinder which they don't make anymore.
whoever buys your truck will have to decide.
I have seen 4 bangers with high miles. Heck you can just leave it alone.
