Message: I don't know if they'll do it but being that you're having these problems already I would opt for a new truck. It sounds like this could haunt you otherwise.

Message: Is it at the dealership you bought it from? Should be covered under warranty. But asking for a new truck wouldn't seem out of line to me. Ask them for the V8 while your at it! of course THAT won't fly. They should be willing to talk considering.

Message: hey man thanks for the replies. but it seems the a-holes don't want to take responsibility for the truck. i did buy it at the same dealership. they said thet would replace the block for me,but i am still pissed in their lack of responsiblity. oh well it is obvious i have to take up with the main headquarters. if anyone knows of another route i can take please let me know. thanks for all your help..... i still dig the dakotas

Message: Sounds like the $1,700 tv I just bought with a bad tube. In the shop for two weeks cause I brought it home and had thrown the box out the next day. No box, no return. I fought and fought and fought, no dice. The law is on their side, at least with cars you have a three day return window and no box.
NEVER BUY FROM VIDEO ONLY.

Message: my friend bought a 2000 QC with a v6. a bad electrical problem poped up after 2-3 weeks so he took it back to the dealer, and the dealer gave him a 2001 QC with the 4.7 for almost the same price. I guess it all depends on which dealer you go to
