Message: Isn't the 2000 interior the same as the 2001-03, so what is the problem why the shifter dosen't fit anyway?

Message: It's my understanding that in order to make the shifter work in a 2000-01, you need to bend the shift lever 5-10° so that it doesn't come into contact with the dash. This is based on some info that was passed along to me on another board. Also, you'll need to make 4 bushings and use the stock gasket so that shift ball doesn't bottom out and break the bolts. If this is the case with a 2002, then I won't be getting in on the Group Buy. I'd love to have a Hurt shifter, but I have no way of bending the shift lever per the instructions I've seen.

Message: Hotchkis drop is umm, a bit more expensive than a short throw shifter, hehe. I don't think I am in untill I can find out if Hurst plans on even making one for the 2001+ years.
