 Subject: shift problems after shift kit install

I just installed a Turbo Action Shift improver kit in my 93 Daktoa 5.2L. I now no longer have passing gear operating properly. The TV cable is hooked up and working correctly. The tranny will down shift from 4th to 3rd, but not down from 3rd. Also when I manually shift from 3rd to 2nd, it will not downshift. I don't know automatics very well, and am unsure where to look as to where I might have made a mistake putting it back together. I don't really want to drain/waste the 8qts of synthetic ATF in put in just to take a "look around". Any information would be greatly appreciated.
