Subject: STOLEN!!! IP: Logged
Message: I had my 2001 Quad stolen Friday night from out front of the house in Phila. First new truck I ever bought. Cops found it in Camden NJ Monday morning. Minor cosmetic damage to the body, but there's no tread on the rear tires. Scumbags left all the tools in the cab, but threw out all my kids pics. Truck is sitting at the dealer waiting for the insurance adjuster.
Most frustating thing is that everyone, cops, insurance agent, etc.. act likes it no big deal. Bastards should be shot for stealing cars.
My rant.

Message: I thought the 2001 was harder to steal with the different ignition (no glow ring) and being sunk into the column farther than they used to be, WTF??

Message: That sucks, so are they going to repair it or just replace the tires and fix the minor cosmetic damage? I wouldn't doubt your rear end got tore up and they engine rev to almost exploding!
My parents Camaro got stolen 15 yrs ago. After the thiefs did there joy ride, the car was never the same. Good luck.
PS. I use to live in Texas, you can be hanged still for stealing a horse, why not do the same for cars? :)

Message: I used to go to a highschool in the middle of the ghetto and so many cars were stolen from there, it scared the crap out of me when I drove my dak to school. Nobody actually made off with my truck allthough 3 people tried.
I had to report it to the police, because I clubbed one of them, broke one of their arms, and don't remember what I did to the last one. The cops didn't care at all. It must have been a pretty funny sight (from a bystanders point of view) watching me at 6'4" 170 lbs beating off a potential car jacker. But, it really upset me when the authorities thought it didn't matter at all.
I'm not trying to give you guys the impression that i'm a hardass, because I'm not. In that neighbor hood you just do what you have to.
I feel your pain,
Geoff

Message: Sheyer,
I feel your pain buddy, mine was stolen a few months ago and I have it back now. I was lucky I didn't have a lot of gas in it because they didn't do a lot of dammage. You should check to make sure you're not leaking any fluids under your truck (ie. tranny, oil,etc..) and make sure you take it to a shop that you TRUST!! Because if you have a problem later you need the shop on YOUR side! Make sure THEY do an estimate too before they start to look for any missed dammage.
I really hope it all works out for you because I just went through the same thing.
Keep us updated on what's happening,
Jonathan
