Subject: A Hoochiebunker?
IP: Logged

Message:
Just thought I'd see if anyone else has special names for things they don't know what they are. My Uncle's is hoochiebunker, although he sometimes uses chingaletta as well. Guess these are just variations of thingamajig, wutchamacallit, etc. Anyone got some new ones?

we have different terms in the garage at work that we like to use to either confuse others, or whatever. heres a few:
FNG - the f*ckin new guy (Where's the FNG?)
Form ID 10 T - Take the spaces out (ID10T), tell someone to go get the form, but to write down the number so they don't forget it.
Metric Phillips Screwdriver - Self explanitory
Left handed crescent wrench - self explanitory
Whosawhatsits - special service tool, only for use on certain vehicles
"who said what to who's dog?" - translation:"I'm sorry, could you say that again, but open your mouth this time?"
"Oh, I thought you said MY mom" - translation:"I understand."

Most people who come to work in this garage don't quite understand the language for thier first 3 or 4 months. Have fun and watch who's leg your hand is on! (another garage saying)

Creedisware Valve...Its in the middle of the oil pan. If you don't change your oil enough you have to take the drain plug out and stick a screwdriver into the pan and turn it until the sludge starts to drain out.

Oh yeah, for those of you from Michigan, don't forget the Yoopers and the Trolls.

Yooper: People who live in the Upper Peninsula(U.P.).
Trolls: People who live in the Lower Peninsula. (The Mackinac Bridge crosses the lakes between the L.P and the U.P. Trolls live UNDER bridges. Get it) A.k.a: Loopers, Fudgies (Mackinac City is famous for its Fudge)
