Message: Do you have the Infinity Sound System? If all else fails, your dealer can look up the wiring diagram from their DC truck manuals and let you know what they do so you can wire it right and not take a chance on voiding your electrical warranty if you had any problems after.
I have always bought my head unit install kits from Crutchfield, they have the most detailed instructions and include any FYI's for quirky things like this. I don't remember having two of each, I only had one extra power wire that was for the remote factory infinity amplifier.
I do know this with my 01, their is a wiring harness that connects the dash cluster, cruise, radio and running lights. I found this out when the wiring harness inside my tilt column disconnected and I had no gauges, radio or back-up lights. Took the dealer almost two days to find out what the problem was. SO... maybe it is an in/out for this wiring harness? You could test it by using a voltmeter and seeing if you have 12V on all the wires or only two of them. If it is only two and the others are 0V, then you found the ones you would use for radio, but my opinion is that the others are there for a reason and the wiring harness you bought should have the accomodation for them. Since you have an 03, a wiring harness may not be made yet as these extra wires may be something new. So then you are back to having the dealer help you if they are inclined to:)
I am just ramblin now, good-luck!
