How long should I wait before applying wax to a brand-new truck? It's getting ready to rain within the next couple of days, and I'd like to wax now, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea yet. My truck's 6 days old.

Go for it. Wax it now. The way they bake paint on nowadays is better than the olden days. I waxed mine the day after I brought it home.

The dealer suggested to me to wait until 3 months for the paint to cure/harden before the first coat. If it was on the lot for a while before you picked it up you're probably ok though.
