I wonder how much that cost...

Here's where I found it... Some board where they got pics of cars they are gonna use in The Fast And The Furious 2. I kinda doubt that Dak will be on the bigscreen, but it looks kinda cool.

That truck is a SR-71 Bullet. A black one was featured in "MOPAR MUSCLE", ( I have it) Romulus Corporation produces these trucks. They are wicked! It's actually a cross breed between a Dakota club cab and a GTS Viper. It has a warmed over 360, Viper racing suspension, Dana 44 rear end and has killer interior mods. Some include carbon fiber dash, full pioneer audio system, a four point rollbar, full power recaros up front and stock seat in the rear, Simspon harnesses and a custom Pistol Grip setup. This baby can do a 35-mph 90 degree agnle turn with no hastle or chirps.

I read thru much of the board where you found those pics and all I can say is that I'm glad the users on this board are more intelligent and/or mature than the people on that one.

And exactly what is this thing

Check the header out, it looks like it has three pipes on the front and three in the back, that's engine is too big for a I4. It must be a I6.

Shouldn't they install the tranny first then drop the engine in?

I'll take the a sr-71 warmed over 360, Viper racing suspension, Dana 44 rear end :)

I don't think it's an Integra due to the fact that it's a rear wheel drive car (unless they did some ultra expensive body mods too). I'd say it's something like a Nissan 240 or maybe even a Porsche 928/944/968...something in that chassis, maybe.

And it's not an inline either, because each bank has it's own turbo, making it some sort of a V block. Looks to be a high output TT V6 of unknown origin. Maybe it's a Nissan design of somekind.

Kinda looks like a Nissan 240SX or Lexus 300 Coupe. It may be a real car and engine, but it sure looks photoshopped. Normally when a motor of that size is outta the car, the front-end is sprung high from having serious springs to hold the weight, but the car is level? That means there is no suspension, just welded to frame(not a chance) or when the motor gets dropped in the tires will be jammed into the wheelwells and you won't be able to turn or get them to spin. Something is just fishy, not that this set-up couldn't or hasn't been done already.

Upon further review, I'd have to say that it's probably a Lexus SC series as well, thereby agreeing with 2THEXTRM. The two lights remaning up front are a dead match. So is the spoiler. Good call Bob!
