i posted a question about the indy pinstripes on my dakota in three different forums and no answer.its a 87 dak indy speedway truck, the owner before me took them off. all i wanted was a pic or two. or any other info possible about the truck.

if you dont find anything there try maybe even ebay, there might be something there. or even the partss dept at your local dealer. maybe even write to a mag. editor they could have something also. hope this helps

I checked the parts department a while ago and they can't get the stripes anymore, discontinued. I didn't think about asking an editor though,thanks for the idea. I'll get a cuople of my brothers' magazines and start getting letters sent. Maybe this will get some of me questions answered. Thanks again.

I'm sorry man, if I could help I would but you've got a truck that is rare in a few ways.
1) It's an ORIGINAL year dakota. They're more than 15 years removed from purchase now and not many exist.
2) It's an Indy edition, most people(me included) don't even know they exist.

You may want to try a company called Penstar Reproductions. They do a lot of Mopar reproduction stuff and they also do the 'cuda stripes for late model trucks. They may be able to help you out. You can find them at www.penstar.bizland.com Hope this helps
