Pictures are now posted on the web...

To say that SEMA is HUGE is an understatement... I probably didn't get pictures of even 20% of the vehicles there, but since I had to cover the entire convention in one day, I found myself having to skip a lot of the picture opportunities, especially since the crowds prevented good views. I really wish I could have spread it all out over the 4 days instead of 1, my feet are absolutely killing me.

Highlights:
Up Close & Personal with the SRT-10 and SRT-4
First pictures of the Sniper Kit (Well, most of the QC version... Look for the dark blue truck with the funky flames, look twice... No grille shell and no Sniper hood yet... Per Cervinis still 8 weeks out because of exhaust concerns, RC first, QC 2nd, CC 3rd?... Not sure if it will be available piecemeal or require entire kit... IMHO side skirts look bitchin, wing and bumper cover are ricey but the bumper cover looks better than I thought it would)
More show vehicles than you can shake a stick at
Plenty of scantily-clad models lounging around in the booths
Per APC's Owner, they will be making our diamond clear headlights!!!
Tons of catalogs and new products for the website.

Disappointments:
APC will be taking 4-5 months for diamond clear headlights.
My mailbox is going to be full of mailing list crap for ages.
3 more days of convention happenings without me.
My feet will hurt for a week, my arms will hurt for a week (from lugging box full of brochures all over 6 kazillion square feet of convention space).

Mopar Happenings:
Dodge Guy #1: 5.7L Hemi 1500 very soon
Dodge Guy #1: Durango reskin to debut in 2004
Dodge Guy #1: Dakota reskin to debut late 2004
Dodge Guy #1: Tells me Hemi R/T in 2005/2006
Dodge Guy #1: Dakota/Durango to be based off of PowerBox concept
Dodge Guy #1: S-10 sized Dodge Truck (besides D's) to debut based off of M-80 concept
Dodge "Exec": No More R/Ts at all after 2003!?!
Not a single Dakota or Durango on display at any Dodge display. Zillions of Rams.
I want an SRT-10. I want an SRT-10. I want an SRT-10. I want an SRT-10. I want an SRT-10. (holy sheeyot the prototype is gorgeous up close and personal)
Multiple styles of Euro tails for both Dakotas and Durangos are coming out within the next couple of months. APC, InProCarWear, DPS, others...

Holy cow there was a ton of H2's and Rams at this convention... Slammed, Skyjacked, Mild, Wild, all over the place.

It's hard to describe it all, SEMA is so huge that you just can't properly absorb it all in one day. Only person I got to spot there was Scott Q and his wife at the Split Second booth, everyone else was out hiding... Maybe we'll be able to hook up for a beer sometime before everyone leaves.

Did you see the Powerdyne display? I called yesterday to see if they had gotten all of the dyno numbers ready to release on the new 4.7 kit... The guy I talked to acted dumb, and said "They're all at the show this week, call back Monday"

They supposedly took their regular cab 4.7 to the show. I don't know what it looks like...Color, mods, etc...

I'm sure you had a good time...Like a kid in a candy store.

You're a lucky man SinCity!

Did you happen to stop by the Rancho booth and see a 2000+ suspension lift???? Inquiring minds want to know. Nice pics by the way.

What's really goin' on?

Powerdyne only had the 5.9L engine on display, and despite hanging out in their booth 3 times throughout the day, their techs evidently had better things to do than answer my questions even when it was slow (they'd just pair/triple up) so I never even got to say hi. Maybe I'll get some literature after the show since I buzzed their card reader.

What was probably most disappointing about the show was the complete lack of Dakotas and Durangos at the show. SS Brakes had their 4x4 QC displaying the Sniper Body Kit and their 4-Caliper brake system, A guy with an RC 4.7L was in the truck show side, a loaner QC was at a tonneau booth, and otherwise that was pretty much it for Dakotas at the show aside from a couple of others just on general display not attached to a particular manufacturer. Otherwise it was Rams, Rams, Rams, and H2's.

I'll see what pops up in the junk mail after the show, I buzzed as many manufacturers as I could.
