Message: I just got back from my local off-road shop, and I told the guy there I had a 98 Dakota 2WD Club Cab and that I wanted to get a 3-inch body lift w/ 32-inch BFG A/Ts and he said that just the lift would cost me $690 installed and the tires would be about $124 a piece. Now the tire thing i can understand but that lift price is pretty high. Is this normal for a 3-inch body lift on a 2WD Dak.??????

Message: sorry dude, they like to charge a bunch of installation. That's about what I got quoted a couple years ago when I wanted to do a body lift on my 2WD. So I just gave up and now I have a 4x4 :)
