They're both on the tach gauge and that is acting wierd too, it is being jumpy instead of being smooth like normal. Any body have any ideas?

Everyone with an 88-96 dak needs to get in on the custom
gauge group buy. We only need 13 more. www.speedhut.com

hey,had same problem after my truck was stolen.it is in the ignition behind the tumbler.if the guy at the autobody shop said very common with older daks or after market parts.i had the abs and parking brake lights on all the time and tach would drop out.with the truck running i could get it to turn off by playing with the ignition.they fixed it though so i can't help with all the details sorry.

I had the ABS and Brake lite comming on intermittently.. The dealer changed the abs-sensor on the diff, then it re-occurred and he replaced a brake sensor switch.. There is also another one that usuall affects the spedo on the tranny on some models..

Parst cost between $30 and $70 depending on the sensor/switch, cost to have the dealer install between $150 and $210..
