Subject: Where is the fuse?!?
IP: Logged

Message:
My cigarette lighter is not working. I checked the fuses under the dash on the drivers side and drivers side under the hood. I could not find a blown fuse. Is there a fusable link for this? Any other ideas to fix the problem?

I own a '92.

TIA,
Matt

I didn't see one by the battery. (I just went out to look.) There is one back in the corner by the firewall on the drivers side though.

Can you direct me a little closer?

Im sorry i dint notice u had a '92 i got a '99 but i used to have a '92 :) in that case it could be the connector on back of the lighter socket, if your try to use a cell phone plug in sorta thing you might check it some are adjustable the the very end sticks out farther.

For the 92 the fuse is NUMBER 9 located under the dash by the E brake it should be a 15 amp fuse Hope this helps

Yes! Flamed is correct I had the same problem a year ago. You would think they would put it in the fuse panel with the rest of them but its not. Look up under the dash above the e brake. Its right over the kick panel.
