I was going to get the same thing- instead I built my own box so that the seat wouldnt need to be moved forward, and I installed an 8w1. I have 150 watts rms going to it- it sounds good. You dont really hear it from a distance, but it fills the cab with a nice rich sound, if you want deep bass go with a 10- but an 8 in these trucks will basically fill in the bass where needed, if I had to do it again I would problably try to fit a 10" in there- but im pretty happy overall. For the price you'd be better off with the MTX Thunderform.

I agree with HSKR I priced them both locally and the MTX was 350 loaded and the Stealthbox was almost 600 loaded.

I've got a Stealthbox in my R/T. Pretty amazing how much bass that 8" can put out.

I went to my favorite shop and just tried boxes till we found one that fit. a ford ranger box with 8" workes quiet well could put another ehind the other seat. but i dont want the extra weight, unless anyone has seen fiberglass boxes for dakota RC.

Hey graphiteRT, can ya give some details about how much bass? Can you hear it outside?? Good shake?

Also, i know about the MTX Thunderforms, that's what i planned on getting in the first place, but the "parents" not sure of it so i'm looking a something a little smaller and the Stealthbox may be it...

What do the "parents" not like about it?? The loudness?? It's only as loud as you make it. The two 10's in the thunderform hit pretty good as well. I've been asked if I had twelves before. But the sound all depends on the head unit, the amp, and what subs you decide to use.

Yea, that's probably what i'm gonna go with but i even also heard that it doesn't fit so i'm gonna have to take it to like Circuit City to do a little customizing to get it right.

Just so ya know, i have a 50x4 watt Alpine head unit and i also heard your not gonna be able to fit an amp in there so is the amplified version of the thunderforms better? Is it just as good?

Also, where can i look at some for some real great prices also with a good company to look at?
