Subject: Front end problems???

Ok what would cause my factory goodyear 31x10.5 15" to flat spot all the way across the tread. I got it aligned 4'000 miles ago so that shouldn't be it. besides the tires are flat across the entire tread. It is only happening to the front tires. It has happened on both sides of the truck. the first one went at about 15,000 miles and got replaced with the spare. now the opposite side front is flat spotted. I get them rotated (probably not as often as I should but it gets done.) I was thinking bad wheel bearings or they weren't balanced right from the factory. also now the front end shimmies and rattles going over bumps. Anyone know what could possibly be going on????

Possible, but they don't feel bad. I'll have to check them. how long do they usually last?

Push dowm on the front fender or bumper and get the truck bouncing. When you stop pushing the truck should stop bouncing. If it continues to bounce you need new shocks.

I have seen GOODYEAR and UNIROYAL tires do some weird things.

I suggest you have them checked for factory defects at a GOODYEAR tire store ( have them checked at more than one ).

I run nothing but MICHELIN and BFGoodrich ( I prefer MICHELIN )
