hey just got off the phone with kenne bell and they said they cant touch the shift points with the 5.9, only 4.7 and they said 15 rwhp.so im thinking b&g is probably the best way to go if you have the money they said more then 20 rwhp and higher shifts by like 300-400 rpms and no torque management and other goodies.just wondering if anyone else would like to get a group buy going in like a few months maybe before or after christmas, i heard the last group buy got it to 530 instead of 630 so it is a good deal.anyone interested email me at espipimp@aol.com

I'm pretty sure B&G said no more group buys, he only does them for $630 now.

Lets see, B & G Flash is $630, and Kenne Bell is $349. The B & G nets 20 hp and the Kenne Bell nets 15 hp.
Now if we divide the B & G $630 by 20 we are paying, uh, $31.50 per horse. Now let's divide the Kenne Bell $349. by 15 we get $23.27 per horse.
Now let's subtract the $349 from the $630 and we get $281. Now this $281 can be applied to a throttle body or headers or a CAM. WO, a good CAM that will get more than 5 hp. Uh, I think I would go the Kenne Bell Route, me.

hey yea i was thinking that route too but it doesnt do anything to the shifts and doesnt do anything to the torque management, and also they wont be available for 2003s until like january, and b&g already does 03s so im still deciding hopefully the hypertech pp3 is getting good reviews and numbers i would love to only spend 290.later.

yea ive seen that unichip before but never heard of anything with it.still trying to decide b/t kenne bell opt 2, b&g, and the hypertech pp3.if anyone has any of these on the 5.9 let me know what you think.

well i went with the ase chip for my 2002 5.9 ill let ya no how it runs and feels i called them today and its on its way back i bought a extra pcm from the dealer in az for 268.00 to have just in case and returns to the dealer
